| From 1986 to 1990 I apprenticed with numerous master artists learning the theory of Photography. By 1991 I fully skilled in multiple lighting techniques, portrait composition, camera and electronic flash design and operation and event coordination. In 1996 I registered my studio under the name of Ambient Light Photography. In 1998 I was one of the first Pro photographers to switch to high speed film for optimized flash lighting. That allowed me to use less flash power thereby cutting down on obtrusive light setups. In 2001 I once again was one of the first to switch to digital format using the knowledge of slide film acquired during the four years of apprenticeship in the late 1980's. Today I'm busy doing what I do best, shooting jobs and consulting other professionals on styles and technique as well as the latest innovations in cameras, lenses and flash products and design.
